A prestigious event in any National
calendar is the "Champion of Champions" competition. If you succeed
in becoming your club singles champion, you go forward to play in a knockout
competition against other club singles' winners. The eventual "Champion of
Champions" has the honour of representing their country in the World Bowls
Championship.
It is hoped, while browsing our pages, that
you have learned a little about how our club game is played. If you are
thinking of going along to watch the Champion of Champions final, you would
probably think, "Nothing like I read on the site" You are right! The
Champion of Champions competition, is played in a much shorter version to the
normal club game. It is played in the "set format" as follows:-
A Set;- - First bowler to reach 7 shots wins the set. Best of three
sets wins the game. Earlswood singles club champions are highlighted in the
following tables. Tables can be printed out to take along to the championship
final. Please go along, if possible, to support your club champion!
