The Home Internationals and the British Isles Championships (BIIBC) are annual events
for both ladies and gentlemen. The BIIBC now includes the Channel Isles, and takes place
the same week as the Home Internationals. The Welsh International Open formerley known
as the Welsh Masters, is now televised annually and includes the Welsh Junior, Gentlemen's
and Ladies singles finals.
With the World Series also being televised the sport of bowls is becoming more popular. Most
Indoor bowling stadiums now have Junior Leagues with enthusiastic youngsters aiming to make
